Everybody loves TikTok, especially kids and teenagers. Most adults struggle to understand the point of anything in this cyberculture. But for Generation Z, it is a way to communicate and interact with others worldwide.
TikTok is a popular social media platform today. Many people use it to spread awareness and positivity, just like Dr. Kojo Sarfo.
What is TikTok?
TikTok is a social media app one can download for free that lets you create, share, and watch videos. Most of the time, videos are accompanied by top hits.
This mobile application was initially introduced to the United States as mucal.ly. It was later rebranded when the two companies merged back in August 2018. Now with more than 100 million users, TikTok is one of the most popular mobile applications.
TikTok is a hit because it combines plenty of apps people love in one platform. With lip-syncing, TikTok managed to replicate features from the app Dubsmash. The user can record and watch videos of themselves lip-syncing to popular songs and other sound bites.
Users can also create short and shareable videos like Vine. Finally, just like YouTube, TikTok allows you to interact with other users. Followers can send hearts, comment on posts, and even create duet videos.
